Russ Brown
Vice President, Consulting & Head of Sutainable Procurement & Human Rights, Verisk Maplecroft
Russ is a Vice President in Verisk Maplecroft’s Consulting practice and also leads the Sustainable Procurement and Human Rights team. He works closely with both external clients and other Verisk businesses to support the strategic engagement and project delivery for a wide range of industry verticals.
Prior to Verisk Maplecroft, Russ worked for BP and was responsible for ensuring that the global supply chain organisation conformed with the corporate operating management system (OMS) and all global functional policies and procedures. He was also responsible for ensuring supply chain compliance with all environmental, social, economic and regulatory requirements.
Russ has more than 20 years’ experience in the supply chain field and has held various leadership positions. He has significant industry experience with a track record in performance improvement, enhancing efficiency, managing large-scale budgets and delivering sustainable business results. He also has broad international experience having held positions and supported operations in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Russ has an MCIPS from the Institute or Procurement & Supply in the United Kingdom and has attended executive development at the Wharton Business School.
