The 2018 Top 100 Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Leaders list was released on August 2. The list recognizes global professionals who made compelling contributions to the corporate social responsibility (CSR) space in 2018.
To be considered, professionals must have been directly involved in the management of a CSR program through 2017–18, be leaders in their space or industry, speak at industry events and raise awareness of CSR issues within their organization and abroad.

The list was curated on Assent’s behalf by Lucas Taylor (University of Notre Dame MBA) of LDT Consulting. Professionals nominated for the list include those from the corporate sector, government bodies, non-governmental organizations, consultancy firms, media groups and service providers.
Some of the variables taken into account while determining the list include:
- Public nominations and votes (1,000+).
- Various social media influence factors.
- Trade show and industry group participation.
- Publications, media citations and participation.
- Organization size.
- Social media outreach and advocacy.
The Top Three Influencers
1. Laura Chapman Rubbo
Director, Responsible Governance & Supply Chain, The Walt Disney Company
Laura performs issue and policy analysis, and co-led the creation of a human rights policy at the Walt Disney Company. She also oversees a program to innovate the company’s supply chain engagement strategies.
2. Lydia Hultquist
Business Development Manager, EMR CPR
Lydia has 20 years of experience in procurement and materials management and new program implementation, with a focus on human trafficking. She is also a founder of the Silicon Valley Conflict Minerals and Human Trafficking Forum, and a member of the Slavery & Trafficking Risk Template (STRT) Development Committee.
3. Lisa Jackson
Vice President, Environment, Policy & Social Initiatives, Apple
Head of Apple’s sustainability and social responsibility initiatives, Lisa received the Environmental Law Institute’s Environmental Achievement Award in 2018 for leading Apple’s efforts to minimize its environmental impact.
